PreSchool Storytime

Spring has sprung, and Preschool Storytime (kids ages 4 - 6) starts on Monday, April 10. We have had such an amazing response to our past storytimes that we are now scheduling two sessions at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM to make room for everyone!

Stop by the Youth Services Desk before storytime to pick up your required storytime & craft ticket (kids ages 4 - 6). Tickets ensure everyone gets a seat on the carpet and that we have enough activity supplies!

Storytime & Craft tickets are for kids ages 4 - 6 only. Kids outside the 4 - 6 age range are welcome to listen to the story but will not receive a craft. (See a VPL staff member for an alternative activity)

Doors open ten minutes before each Storytime Session. Storytime & Craft Tickets are required.

Themes:

4/10 - Butterflies

4/17 - Ready, Set, Grow!

4/24 - Rain

5/1 - Chicks

5/8 - Bunnies

5/15 - Bugs

Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs

The Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs will be back at VPL on select Mondays! Grab a book, sit with a Therapy Dog, and read aloud to them in the Youth Services Department. Reading to animals builds confidence in reading and improves reading fluency. Plus, the pups love to hear stories!
