VPL is hiring for a Part-Time Library Clerk!
A Library Clerk is one of the friendly faces that keeps the library welcoming, organized, and running smoothly. As a key member of our public service team, the Clerk works directly with patrons at the circulation and/or youth services desk—checking materials in and out, issuing library cards, placing holds, answering questions, and helping visitors navigate library services and technology.
This position blends strong customer service skills with attention to detail. Library Clerks handle transactions accurately, maintain patron records, process payments, and assist with basic troubleshooting of public computers and printers.
