I'd like to know who is in charge of making sure the Library User Guidelines , which are posted in the lobby, are followed . One of the guidelines states that there can be no food or drink in the library except in specific, designated areas .......yet during one recent visit I noted a group of people were seated around a table in the main area of the library eating their lunches. There is obvious large unsightly stains on the carpet from various spills.
This is certainly not the way our public library should look or be administered.
If the guideline says "no eating or drinking " then there should be NO exceptions.
Someone needs to arrange for the carpets…
